FYI — Here are a few highlights from this writer’s life:

  • Lots of great writing ahead for Winter 2026 via Zoom with fiction writing classes through the Norwalk Library, Writer’s Inspiration AM & PM classes through the Pound Ridge Library, and more.  Private small group fiction writing classes two evenings each week as well as virtual weekly Personal Writing Coach sessions to guide and encourage writers working on novels, short stories and family story collections.
  • A wonderful mix of returning writers and new writers signed up for the morning and evening Summer and Fall 2025 Creative Writing and Fiction Writing classes for adults. One enthusiastic participant even joined us via Zoom from her vacation in Iceland. She did not want to miss the first class!
  • Winter and Spring 2025 classes inspired adult participants with several morning and evening sessions of Fiction Writing, Focus on Fiction Writing, Writer’s Inspiration, Art-Inspired Fiction Writing and Life Sketches Personal Story Writing via Zoom!
  • The Fall 2024 session brought more returning writers and new participants to my Phiction Writing, Writer’s Inspiration and Writer’s Motivation morning and evening writing classes via Zoom!
  •  My short story – Gretel’s Regret – is published in the 2023 anthology, Whatever Happened to Hansel and Gretel?   Twenty-four contemporary writers imagine the lives of Hansel and Gretel ten years after the children escaped from the witch’s candy house in the woods. These surprising, creative, entertaining and hilarious sequels to the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale started out as a fiction writing challenge for my adult writing class participants and are now available in paperback, hardcover and e-book thanks to Fathom Publishing. Whatever Happened to Hansel and Gretel? is available through online booksellers including Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
  • Winter and Spring 2024 morning and evening writing classes inspired great writing from enthusiastic participants in my Fiction Writing, Creative Writing and True Crime Fiction Writing classes via Zoom!
  • Fall 2023 writing classes include fiction writing and personal story writing sessions from September through early December. I am excited to inspire fiction writers with my new Phiction Writing 2 (writing fiction stories inspired by photographs) classes and more life events to recall for nonfiction writers in my Life Sketches personal story writing classes.
  • Winter,  Spring and Summer 2023 writing classes continue to inspire!  So many new and returning participants have signed up to write fiction stories and personal nonfiction stories with me via Zoom in classes through the Norwalk Library, Pound Ridge Library, Trumbull Library, Wilton Library, Woodbury Library, Cheshire Library, and Scarsdale Library!
  • The Fall 2022 adult fiction writing classes via Zoom were a big success through libraries in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.  Thanks to the magic of Zoom, we have participants from the tri-state area as well as writers joining us from California, Alaska, Wisconsin, the Island of Nevis, and Quito, Ecuador! Writing class participants enjoyed my brand new program – Phiction Writing (writing fiction stories inspired by photographs)!
  • In 2020 & 2021 & 2022, I continued to expand my writing classes via Zoom.  My virtual Fiction Writing, Personal Story Writing and Creative Writing classes for adults, teens and children are offered via Zoom through the Pound Ridge Library, Norwalk Library, Bronxville Library, New Fairfield Library, Trumbull Library, Bedford Library, Ridgefield Library, Scarsdale Library, Great Barrington Libraries, and the Lifetime Learners Institute . These virtual writing classes keep students inspired and socially connected while staying safe at home.  I am thrilled to have participants in Alaska, Massachusetts, Canada and Scotland!
  • In 2019, I received a letter from a high school senior (one of my long-time Creative Writing students) telling me how much I have inspired her writing over the years. After graduating in June, she attended my summer session of Creative Writing for Adults classes  before heading off to college. So proud!
